Geely Coolray sales increase even further for July

Geely is once again part of the Fortune Global 500

Last June, Geely Philippines reported that it sold some 154 units of the Coolray subcompact crossover, making it the best selling vehicle in its class. It seems that the carmaker is on a roll as it reports even better sales figures for the month of July, with the Coolray selling 263 examples.

The July sales figure surpassed the June output, with Geely expressing delight with the result. Apart from this, the car company has likewise gone beyond its 1,000-unit sales target for the Coolray—a goal it set for itself almost a year ago when it entered the local market.

In line with this, Geely isn’t only doing well in the Philippines but around the world as well. Geely ranks 243rd on the Fortune Global 500 list. This is the 9th consecutive year it has been part of this prestigious list. This is in terms of revenue, which is pegged at $47.886 billion.

Zhejang Geely Holdings attributes this to its Integrated Development strategy that can be seen in partnerships such as that of Geely and Volvo. It has even become a case study for many a business school, such as the esteemed Harvard Business School.

With this, it looks like Geely is well on its way to greater heights, both in our local market and around the world.
